The Spice will not be flowing this year. It has just been confirmed that Dune: Part Two will be delayed indefinitely after stubbornly holding on to its November 2023 release date. In other words, the sequel will be pushed back to a possible 2024 release.

Warner Bros. has made significant adjustments to its release calendar, as reported by Variety. Notably, Dune: Part Two, the highly anticipated sequel, has seen its original November 3 release date postponed to an unspecified date in the following year. This decision comes roughly a month after preliminary reports hinted at the potential delay of Dune 2's release. Now, it's official that the film will no longer be part of the 2023 movie release lineup.

Additionally, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong, has also been impacted by Warner Bros.' release schedule reshuffle. Its premiere date has been pushed back by a month, now set for April 12.

Furthermore, the animated feature Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim, initially slated for release on April 12, 2024, will now see its debut postponed to December 13 of the same year. These changes reflect the studio's strategic adjustments in response to evolving market dynamics and audience preferences.

When is Dune: Part Two's New Release Date?

Unfortunately, the new Dune: Part Two release date has not yet been announced. However, it has been known that the upcoming film will delve into the ongoing odyssey of Paul Atreides as he joins forces with Chani and the Fremen. Together, they embark on a quest for vengeance against the malevolent conspirators responsible for the destruction of his family. Simultaneously, Paul takes on the solemn duty of preventing a cataclysmic future that he alone can foresee.
