Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and the rest of the Demon Slayers are finally back! The fourth season’s premiere episode showed the beginning of the Hashiras’ training and Tanjiro's recovery after his epic fight against the demons in the previous season's finale. But as everyone prepares for a big battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 2, titled Water Pillar - Giyuu Tomioka's Pain, shows Tanjiro receiving a letter from Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

The anime only released one still for Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 2. Though it doesn’t give anything away about what will happen next, Tanjiro's cheerful look hints at a positive turn of events. It can also be noticed that he’s already out of Butterfly Mansion, insinuating his health is back to a hundred percent.

If this happens, he may have finally met his sister, Nezuko, who has regained some of her human traits. She now gradually speaks and enjoys the sun with the three Ubuyashiki sisters after being kept in a box and stuck with bamboo in her mouth to keep her from biting anyone.

What happened in Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 1?

Warning: Spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 1 was off to a good start. It began with the appearance of Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro, the Serpent and Wind Hashiras, fighting a horde of demons to save a woman. The two used their Breathing Techniques to defeat their enemies one after another. But as they found themselves infiltrating Muzan’s Infinity Castle, it was gone in a snap.

Elsewhere, Tengen Uzui, the former Sound Hashira, returned after retiring following the events of the Entertainment District Arc in the second season. Uzui would help his former comrades and the Demon Slayers train. As Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke weren’t strong enough to face Muzan and the remaining Upper Moon, they, too, would undergo intense training with the Hashiras.

What to Expect from Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 2

After Ubuyashiki’s crow invited Tamayo to look after Nezuko’s case in the previous episode, she’s expected to accept the invite in Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 2. Ubuyashiki wants Tamayo to work for Kanao Tsuyuri to investigate Nezuko’s transformation. Also, while resting in the Butterfly Mansion, Tenjiro will receive a letter from Ubuyashiki.

You can read the synopsis below:

Yoya's crow suddenly appears before Tamayo and invites the demon Tamayo to the Demon Slayer Corps' headquarters. Meanwhile, Tanjiro, who is resting at the butterfly mansion, receives a letter from Yoya.
