San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is gearing up for an electrifying event as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the highly anticipated first film in a cinematic trilogy, takes center stage with a major panel in the prestigious Hall H. Scheduled for Saturday, July 26, at 5:45 p.m. PDT, this landmark presentation marks the first time since 2019 that representatives from the acclaimed animation studio ufotable will appear in the United States, bringing exclusive insights and footage to fans of the global anime phenomenon.

The panel will feature a powerhouse lineup of talent from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise. Director Haruo Sotozaki, known for his masterful storytelling and breathtaking visuals, will be joined by director of photography Yuichi Terao, whose work has defined the series’ stunning aesthetic. Voice actor Natsuki Hanae, the voice behind the determined protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, and Aleks Le, the English voice of the lightning-fast Zenitsu Agatsuma, will also take the stage. Adding to the excitement, theme song artist LiSA, whose iconic tracks like “Gurenge” and the newly announced “Shine in the Cruel Night” have become synonymous with the series, will make a special appearance. The panel promises engaging discussions about the upcoming film and an exclusive footage presentation, offering a glimpse into the epic battles awaiting in the Infinity Castle trilogy.

In addition to the Hall H panel, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle experience will extend to the convention floor. At booth #4135, interactive activities inspired by the film will immerse attendees in the world of the Demon Slayer Corps, bringing the intensity and emotion of the series to life. This activation complements the broader presence of the franchise at Comic-Con, which includes a two-day Crunchyroll Anime FanFest at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, a free-to-attend celebration of anime and music open to the public without a Comic-Con badge.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy kicks off with its first film premiering in Japan on July 18, 2025, across a record-breaking 443 screens, setting a new milestone for the franchise. International audiences won’t have to wait long, as the film will roll out globally starting in August, with a theatrical release in the United States and Canada on September 12, 2025, in both subtitled and dubbed formats, including select IMAX screenings. The film’s release is described as occurring on an “unprecedented scale,” a testament to the franchise’s monumental popularity following the record-breaking success of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which grossed over $507 million worldwide.
