The highly-anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the first of a trilogy of films adapting the climactic Infinity Castle Arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, has unveiled a thrilling new commercial spotlighting a pivotal confrontation between Zenitsu Agatsuma and the demon Kaigaku. This latest promotional material, released on September 12, 2025, offers fans a glimpse into the intense battles awaiting in the film, which promises to deliver the breathtaking animation and emotional depth that have defined the Demon Slayer franchise.

The newly released commercial focuses on Zenitsu, the lightning-fast Demon Slayer known for his Thunder Breathing techniques, as he faces off against Kaigaku, a formidable demon and former peer. The footage showcases stunning visuals from Ufotable, the studio renowned for its work on previous Demon Slayer adaptations, including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and the Entertainment District Arc. The brief clip highlights Zenitsu’s electrifying combat style, with dynamic sequences of his Thunderclap and Flash technique clashing against Kaigaku’s demonic prowess. The commercial also teases the sprawling, otherworldly architecture of the Infinity Castle, a labyrinthine fortress that serves as the stronghold of the series’ primary antagonist, Muzan Kibutsuji.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle marks a significant milestone for the franchise, adapting the manga’s final major arc. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young Demon Slayer who joined the Demon Slayer Corps to save his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, and defeat the demons plaguing humanity. Alongside his comrades Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, Tanjiro has faced numerous trials, battling alongside elite swordsmen known as the Hashira. Previous arcs have seen him train under Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen Train, fight alongside Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, and collaborate with Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji in the Swordsmith Village. The Infinity Castle Arc escalates the stakes, pitting the Demon Slayer Corps against Muzan and his most powerful demons in a desperate final stand.

The commercial’s release underscores the anticipation for the film, which is expected to deliver the same high-octane action and emotional resonance that have made Demon Slayer a global phenomenon. The Infinity Castle, with its disorienting, ever-shifting structure, provides a visually spectacular backdrop for the battles, as seen in the commercial’s glimpses of Zenitsu navigating its perilous halls. Kaigaku, a demon with ties to Zenitsu’s past, adds a personal layer to their confrontation, promising a fight that is as emotionally charged as it is visually explosive.

Zenitsu vs. Kaigaku also got an official key visual for the first Infinity Castle film:

Crunchyroll’s official description of the film encapsulates the narrative’s intensity:

Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village. As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
