Delicious in Dungeon Episode 6 Preview Features Laios’ Encounter with a Different Kind of Enemy

Laios and his party start to meet different opponents as they continue their journey in the dungeon. After running into a surreal treasure insect in the previous season, they’re about to encounter another kind of enemy in Delicious in Dungeon Episode 6, titled Court Cuisine/Boiled with Salt. The anime has released its teaser and preview stills for the new episode, showing Laios’ next move.

The Delicious in Dungeon Episode 6 teaser features Laios and his group having a hard time conquering the dungeon’s underground mountain. As they are torn between continuing their journey and taking a break to search for food, they see living paintings that feature fruits and other meals. In desperation to eat and feed his group, Laios jumps into the painting and tries to steal the food there.

On the other hand, the new episode still shows Laios holding a plate of food that he seems to work hard for. He’s next seen looking desperate while Chilchuck, Marcille, and Senshi watch him from behind. A still of a family of three is also revealed, with the couple holding a baby in between them. A female elven appears, and it looks like she’s about to meet Laios and his group.

In addition, Chilchuck looks mad while frowning, followed by a preview of the whole party. Chilchuck appears again and seems determined this time while seemingly climbing a wall. For the last still, Senshi is back to cooking, holding a lid while Chilchuck, Marcille, and Laios surround him.

What to Expect from Delicious in Dungeon Episode 6

Laios and his party will see paintings in Delicious in Dungeon Episode 6. But they aren’t just simple paintings, as they’re all alive, and a monster will drag them into these artworks. With his hunger, Laios believes he can find a meal inside these paintings and jumps into one of them. But instead of food, he will meet Delgal, the former king of the Golden Country.

Raios and his friends encounter a living painting, a monster that drags them into the painting. A hungry Laios claims that if he goes inside a painting with food on it, he will find a meal, so he goes into the painting, ignoring Marcil and the others who are stunned. There, Laios catches a glimpse of a turning point in the life of a person named Delgal.

 

The anime is based on the manga of the same title by Ryoko Kui. The manga was serialized in the Seinen magazine Harta from February 2014 to September 2023. It was licensed in English in North America by Yen Press. It was then adapted into anime by Trigger and premiered in January 2024, releasing five episodes so far.
