Laios and his party have successfully rescued Falin, fulfilling their first cour mission to get her back from the Red Dragon. However, as the first half’s final episode, Red Dragon III/Good Medicine, saw Falin acting strange and missing once again, Laios, Chilchuck, Marcille, and Senshi had been put in danger, with the Half-foot begging the party leader to return to the surface before it was too late. But it’s not the end of the group’s journey yet, as the anime has released the trailer and poster for Delicious in Dungeon Cour 2, revealing the new adventure they’re about to begin.

The Delicious in Dungeon Cour 2 trailer features Laios and his party's previous journeys to save Falin. From the different meals they have eaten to the dangers they have faced, they have endured everything to reunite with Laios’ sister. It also shows Laios looking at the corpse of the Red Dragon. As the Lunatic Magician Thistle appears, Laios swears to defeat the magic of the rebellion and save Falin again.
From there, the second cour’s new opening theme, Fate by Sumika, begins to play as the party encounters different gigantic monsters. Of course, the series will never be complete without featuring sumptuous meals they eat between fights. Chilchuck then swears to help Laios rescue Falin despite fearing the dangers that will come their way. However, as Kabru takes the scene, he warns everyone not to feed the labyrinth continuously and suggests sealing it off.
As the ending theme, Kira Kira no Ash by Regal Lily, begins to play, Senshi declares that the labyrinth is only looking for something that responds to people’s desires. With a hopeful song playing in the background, Laios knows they will feast together again soon.
Meanwhile, the Delicious in Dungeon Cour 2 poster features the individuals in the dungeon, led by Laios, Chilchuck, Senshi, and Marcille in the front. Kabru’s group, along with the team of elves and Hien’s fellow ninjas, stay behind as they support Laios and his party. But what makes this visual sinister is the appearance of Thistle looming behind them.

What to Expect from Delicious in Dungeon Cour 2
After the Lunatic Magician attacked Laios in the first cour finale, Falin is again gone. Laios and his party get condemned after saving Falin from the Red Dragon by violating some rules that put everyone in danger. But amid the threats of losing his companions, Laios swears to defeat Thistle and save Falin once again, no matter what it takes.

The anime is based on the manga of the same title by Ryoko Kui. It was serialized on Enterbrain’s seinen manga magazine Harta from February 2014 to September 2023. Yen Press has licensed the series in English. It was then adapted into anime by Trigger, premiering in January 2024 and releasing 13 episodes.
