Just a few months after the first cour of Dead Mount Death Play anime concluded, the Corpse God in Polka Shinoyama's body is back, so if you're a fan of this dark fantasy "reverse isekai" series, you must be hyped. King Amusement Creative has released a new trailer for the second cour of Dead Mount Death Play anime ahead of its October 9 premiere. Geek Toys is in charge of the animation, and Manabu Ono is directing the anime, with assistant direction by Takaharu Okuma.

The first cour of Dead Mount Death Play aired from April 11 to June 17 this year and ran for 12 episodes. Yoshiki Kitai and Takaharu Ookuma directed the anime, while Hisashi Abe served as the character designer.

What is Dead Mount Death Play about?
Dead Mount Death Play anime is based on the manga series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto. The series has been serialized in Square Enix’s bimonthly magazine Young Gangan since October 2017. As of April 2023, the series' individual chapters have been collected into eleven volumes.

Dead Mount Death Play Cour 2 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll in select regions, including North America.
