After the first half of Dead Mount Death Play aired on Crunchyroll in the Spring 2023 anime season, the second cour of the TV anime adaptation of the manga written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto will air in the Fall 2023 anime season. Ahead of its broadcasting, the production team released a new trailer alongside a new key visual and the announcement that it will premiere on October 9.
You can watch the new trailer for the second half of Dead Mount Death Play below:
As expected, the new trailer highlights the mysterious symbol from the necromancer's realm, and the trailer teases the mystery behind it. The powerful necromancer known as the Corpse God was reincarnated in Polka Shinoyama's body in the beginning of the anime, but it looks like he's not the only one who somehow made it to our world. The trailer also features footages from the finale of the first cour to the heavy metal tune that should hype up the fans of the reverse isekai story.
