Matt Murdock will soon return to the small screen in Marvel Studios and Disney+’s upcoming Daredevil: Born Again. As the Man Without Fear becomes a bigger player in the MCU, appearing in Jon Watts’ 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Ms. Marvel, and Echo, some wonder if he has a major to play in the franchise in the future. Though it remains to be seen what’s next for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen beyond his own series, Charlie Cox has hinted at his character’s possible team-up with the Avengers.
During ScreenRant’s panel at the recent Fan Expo event in Chicago, Cox discussed returning to the Marvel universe after Netflix’s three-season Daredevil (2015-2018). At the event, he was asked if there were any MCU stars he wanted to work with in the future. Though he didn’t name specific actors he hoped to collaborate with, he mentioned “one particular group of people” he wished to share the screen with, clearly hinting at the Avengers.
“I have to be so careful. Look, I can't!; I'm not going to say, there's so many,” he said. “There's one particular group of people that I would like to be invited to play with... But we'll get into that a little bit later.”
Cox has remained tightlipped about this future in the MCU. However, now that he is part of the Multiverse Saga, there are a lot of possibilities for his character to be part of Marvel Studios’ future projects. As it is now working on rebuilding the Avengers, with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars already in development, it may not be far that Murdock may have a participation in these films.

Will Daredevil be part of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars?
Daredevil: Born Again will be part of the street-level side of the MCU, so it’s unlikely to be directly connected to the upcoming Avengers films. However, the series may still include some references to the group. If the MCU wants Daredevil to have a role in Doomsday and Secret Wars, Murdock could appear in Spider-Man 4 following his appearance in No Way Home.
This could make the Avengers aware of Daredevil and lead to a collaboration with him. Secret Wars is set to conclude the Multiverse Saga. Like the 2019 Avengers: Endgame, directed by the Russo Brothers, who will return to direct the new Avengers film, many MCU heroes are expected to emerge and join forces. There’s a strong possibility that Daredevil will be one of them, giving him a part in Secret Wars alongside the Avengers.
Fans must wait and see what is in store for Daredevil in the MCU. As he’s about to lead Daredevil: Born Again, his part in the franchise may not just end in this series.
Daredevil: Born Again is set to be released on Disney+ in March 2025, while Doomsday and Secret Wars are scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2016, and May 7, 2027, respectively.
