The Harry Potter franchise is getting a reboot and will be introducing new actors as the Golden Trio. But what are the chances that Daniel Radcliffe will make an appearance as a new character in the planned MAX series? The Horns star weighed in on a possible cameo in the new adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books.
Daniel Radcliffe has played several interesting and unique characters in his career but people still know and love him as The Boy Who Lived. So it's no surprise that Comicbook.com asked Radcliffe if there is a possibility he will show up in the Harry Potter reboot. However, the Swiss Army Man actor made it clear that he wants the new Harry actor to get their time to shine.
"My understanding is that they're trying to very much start fresh and I'm sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere," Radcliffe said. "So I'm definitely not seeking it out in any way."

He then stated that he is rooting for the next actor who will portray Harry Potter.
"I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world and I'm very excited to have that torch passed," Radcliffe said. "But I don't think it needs me to physically pass it."
Playing Harry Potter was Daniel Radcliffe's first acting role, debuting in Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone in 2010. He would portray the young wizard in the next decade, effectively saying goodbye to the role with 2012's Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
Earlier this year, Warner Bros. and the Wizarding World announced the plans for a Harry Potter reboot. The new adaptation will follow the young wizard's story all over again and will be available for streaming on MAX.
