The official Fortnite trailer offers a first look at the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cosmetics now headed to the game. The footage also features a Monowire Pickaxe, though that prop could instead be an idle animation for an unfinished weapon.
When is Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners coming to Fortnite?
Neither Epic Games nor CD Projekt Red has posted a locked calendar date for the Lucy Outfit. Early posts only said the netrunner would arrive soon, and dataminers quickly tied that wording to the next major Fortnite patch.
A leaked Fortnite update schedule lists that patch for September 17, 2026. If those leaks hold, Lucy could appear on that day or in the hours after the servers return.
The drop would still sit inside Chapter 7 Season 4, the Override season that already named Cyberpunk: Edgerunners among its planned crossovers. That window also matches later notes pointing to update 42.20 as the likely vehicle for the cosmetic.
The first Cyberpunk: Edgerunners social teaser joked that Override security was child’s play and offered Lucy as a consultant. That framing fits the season’s hacking theme and implies the Outfit is meant to land while Override is still live.

Epic Games first teased the dual-wield kit when *Fortnite* Override launched on August 20, without naming its source. The crossover footage now ties those firearms to Rebecca’s signature guns from the anime and shows Lucy firing them as a paired assault rifle and SMG.
