CD Projekt Red is going to work with Anonymous Studios’ Chief Creative Officer David Levine, Head of Television Garret Kemble, and Director of Development Ryan Schwartz. Previously, David Levine was also the EVP and Co-Head of Drama at HBO for more than 10 years, where his job was to oversee the production of series such as True Blood, True Detective, and Westworld.

Not only this, but he also played a major role in the production of the early seasons of the hit series Game of Thrones. CD Projekt Red stated that the live-action Cyberpunk 2077 project is currently in an early development stage, and they’re busy hunting for a screenwriter in order to tell a whole new story that will be set in the game’s universe.

CD Projekt Red’s Netflix animated spin-off known as Cyberpunk Edgerunners saw massive success and became an instant hit among fans. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise to know that the company plans on taking the franchise in the Hollywood territory.

The developers also released a bunch of Cyberpunk 2077 updates, such as the game selling more than 25 million copies. The Phantom Liberty expansion also sold three million copies on sale only in the first week. CD Projekt Red also announced a management change, which is that CEO Adam Kiciński plans on entering a supervisory position in 2025.
