Netflix has release da new trailer and visual for its upcoming Comedy Royale, an unscripted series that features 20 hand-picked Korean comedy icons who will be pitted against one another as they battle for a chance to host their own Netflix show. The trailer begins with someone saying, "Comedy is dead, but K-comedy is alive", then it gives us our first look at the contestants and the brilliant set of this funny survival game competition. Based on what the trailer showed, it looks like Comedy Royale will be full of laughs and some intense conflicts between the competitors. The contestants are seen doing silly skits, and it looks like some According to Netflix, the South Korean series "takes on the novel mid-form format, with a running time of 30 minutes and a shorter production time, allowing topics to be presented in timely and relevant ways."

Netflix has a great viewership record for South Korean reality shows like Physical 100, Single's Inferno, and The Devil's Plan (recently renewed for Season 2), so it wouldn't be surprising if this one will also make it to the streamer's Top 10 in multiple countries.
