Crunchyroll has unveiled fresh casting announcements for the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle - Akaza Sairai, the opening chapter in the eagerly awaited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy. Acclaimed actor Channing Tatum, recognized for his performances in Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street, steps into the role of Keizo, with Rebecca Wang voicing Koyuki.

This addition brings fresh talent to the dubbed version of the action-packed film, which continues the story of Tanjiro Kamado and his companions as they face escalating threats from powerful demons in the Infinity Castle arc.

The English dub features a robust lineup of returning voice actors, ensuring continuity for longtime viewers:

  • Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado

  • Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado

  • Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma

  • Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira

  • Brianna Knickerbocker as Kanao Tsuyuri

  • Zeno Robinson as Genya Shinazugawa

  • Johnny Yong Bosch as Giyu Tomioka

  • Ray Chase as Tengen Uzui

Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Aniplex, is set to bring the film to theaters across the United States and Canada starting September 12. Audiences will have the option to experience it in Japanese with English subtitles or in the newly announced English dub. Screenings will include premium formats such as IMAX and other large-screen options, enhancing the immersive visuals of the Demon Slayer series' signature animation style.

The film made its debut in Japan on July 18, where it shattered records by playing on 443 screens—a new high for the franchise—including IMAX venues. In just 17 days, it has sold over 12.5 million tickets, grossing approximately 17.6 billion yen (equivalent to about US$119.3 million). This impressive performance has propelled it past the 2003 film Bayside Shakedown 2, securing its place as the 10th highest-earning film of all time in Japan.

Aniplex has ambitious plans for the international rollout, targeting screenings in more than 150 countries and regions worldwide. This marks a broader distribution than the franchise's previous world tour, which reached over 145 territories, underscoring the growing global appeal of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

As the first installment in a trilogy adapting the Infinity Castle arc from Koyoharu Gotouge's original manga, the film promises intense battles and emotional depth, building on the success of prior seasons and movies like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train, which became a box office phenomenon.
