The first season of Castlevania: Nocturne, which consists of 8 episodes, is set during the French Revolution, 300 years after the events of the four-season original run, and it introduced a new group of vampire hunters and vampires.
However, Castlevania: Nocturne Season 1 concluded with a shocking cliffhanger that set the stage for what's coming in the future episodes.
