In a few days, Park Eun-Bin will once again conquer TV viewing with the new K-drama series Castaway Diva. Many are already excited to see her return after the success of Extraordinary Attorney Woo last year. And to have something to hold fans over, Netflix has dropped a new trailer, revealing how Eun-Bin manages to return to the modern world after being stuck on a deserted island for 15 years.
The lengthy, almost four-minute trailer starts by revealing how Park Eun-Bin is found by a drone that falls on the uninhabited Pilji Island and sees a woman living there. She’s then finally rescued and brought back to society, where she’s stunned by everything she sees, like a smartphone where she can watch a show. As she begins to enjoy her newfound life, she starts to dream again after seeing the name of her idol, Yoon Ran-Joo. But the woman she adores isn’t what she seems to be.
However, apart from her dream, the Castaway Diva trailer hints at a secret that lies behind the accident that gets her stuck on an island. “Ki-ho is hiding somewhere near you,” a man’s voice says. As a frightened Park Eun-Bin is seen running, Chae Jong-Hyeop promises to protect her. But there's nothing that can stop a woman who's about to begin her journey to recover her lost dreams.

What is Castaway Diva about?
Castaway Diva tells the story of an ordinary island girl, Seon Mok-Ha, whose dream is to become a singer. To pursue this, she plans to travel to Seoul to attend an audition. However, an accident happens, and she gets stuck on a deserted island. Despite being in an unfamiliar and strange place, she keeps a positive attitude and ultimately gets rescued. As she returns to the modern world, she starts to dream again and work on it to be a diva.
