Polin fans, celebrate! Netflix has finally given a glimpse of the two most beloved Bridgerton characters, Penelope and Colin, as they take center stage in the upcoming third season. As part of the streamer’s announcement of its new TV series and movies coming out this year, it includes a sneak peek of Bridgerton Season 3, showing how Penelope seemingly flirts with Colin.

The very first clip of Bridgerton Season 3 shows Penelope and Colin in the middle of a conversation in the Bridgerton sitting room. And by the looks of it, Penelope has spent much time studying Colin’s eyes. She seriously stares at Colin’s face and says his eyes have the most “remarkable shade of blue.” She then claims they shine even brighter when he’s kind, making Colin conscious.
Penelope gets back to her senses as things get awkward between the two, explaining that she may say those words if he’s a suitor. After that, Colin can’t help himself but drink water and tell Penelope that what he tells him is “rather direct.” The uncomfortable situation ends when they hear a commotion outside and Colin leaves Penelope to check it.

What is Bridgerton Season 3 about?
Bridgerton Season 3 will focus on the love story of Penelope and Colin. Colin returns after traveling over the summer but is surprised after noticing Penelope is giving him the cold shoulder. Little did he know that Penelope heard him tell his friends that he would never court her. To win back her attention, he decides to help her find a husband, not realizing his feelings for her are returning to be romantic.

Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly. Complicating matters for Penelope is her rift with Eloise, who has found a new friend in a very unlikely place, while Penelope’s growing presence in the town makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.
Bridgerton Season 3 will be divided into two parts, with Part 1 scheduled to be released on May 16 and Part 2 on June 13 on Netflix. The series will also hold a virtual sneak peek on February 14.
