The production team of Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga (Ao no Exorcist: Yuki no Hate-hen) anime recently revealed a new anime trailer that previews its main ending theme song. The new promotional video also announced that the new season of Kazue Kato's dark fantasy franchise is scheduled to premiere on October 5, 2024. The ending theme song is titled Tsurara, which is performed by the band Yobahi. Watch the new trailer for Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga below:

Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga, which was officially announced during the anime franchise's Anime Expo 2024 panel in July, will be followed by Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, premiering in January 2025. Both upcoming seasons will be available to stream on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan. Beyond the Snow Saga is set to premiere on October 5 at 25:00 JST (effectively, October 6 at 1:00 a.m. JST).

Earlier this year, Blue Exorcist returned for its third season, Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga, which started airing in January 2024. Daisuka Yoshida (Idol Incidents) directed the third season. Animation studio VOLN, which animated that season, will return to produce the next two seasons. What is Blue Exorcist about?
The dark fantasy anime is based on the Blue Exorcist manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Kato, which started serialization in Jump Square magazine in 2009, and has released 31 tankobon volumes as of June 2024. The previous seasons of Blue Exorcist anime, which were animated by A-1 Pictures, aired in 2011 and 2017, respectively. Season 2, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, ignored the anime-only arc from the prequel and continued to adapt the storyline of the manga series.
There's also a side-story titled Blue Exorcist: Kuro’s Trip Away From Home and two-episode OVA from the second season.
