The final episode of Attack on Titan has left anime enthusiasts deep in contemplation, as the acclaimed series reached its epic climax with an intense clash between the Scout Regiment and their former comrade Eren Jaeger. Widely regarded as one of the paramount anime series, the emotional farewells from the voice actors added another layer to the bittersweet symphony of the grand finale. However, amidst the sea of sentiments, the actors behind Jean Kirstein and Connie Springer managed to recreate a poignant moment, tugging at the heartstrings of viewers.

In the Attack on Titan finale, the organism responsible for bestowing Ymir with the power of the Titan unleashed a transformative cloud, threatening to transform every Eldian in its path into Titans. Facing the imminent threat of Titan transformation, Jean and Connie stood shoulder to shoulder, bracing for the inevitable.

Seizing the emotional gravity of the moment, voice actors Kisho Taniyama (Jean) and Hiro Shimono (Connie) seized the opportunity to recreate the scene where the two Scouts grappled with the acceptance of their seemingly inevitable fate, believing they were on the brink of transforming into Titans (via X).

The poignant image capturing the reenactment has since been shared on social media, resonating with fans who found solace in the actors' commitment to embodying the essence of the characters.

What happened to Jean and Connie in the Attack on Titan finale?

Although they were turned into Titans, Connie and Jean regained their human form after the death of Eren Yaeger. In the aftermath of Eren's defeat, Connie and Jean assumed roles as ambassadors who tried to bridge the chasm between Paradis Island and the outside world. However, their newfound positions were not the sole rewards bestowed upon them by the aftermath of the Founding Titan's demise.

Eren's failure to execute his plan of eradicating the global population outside of Paradis yielded significant outcomes for both characters. Connie's mother, once transformed into a Titan, was miraculously restored to human form. Meanwhile, Jean seemingly found solace and companionship, settling down with Mikasa Ackerman, as poignantly depicted in the credits of the final episode. Jean's happy ending with Mikasa is still up for debate as many argue that she could have been with another man in the scene. Until Hajime Isayama confirms it, fans will continue to wonder if Mikasa ever got married after Eren's death.
