The Attack on Titan TV anime may be over but the epic franchise created by Hajime Isayama will return to theaters to bring The Rumbling to the big screens! The two anime parts of the Attack on Titan Final Season: THE FINAL CHAPTERS will be compiled into one colossal anime movie titled Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK. Studio MAPPA is in charge of the animation of the 145-minute theatrical release, which will feature enhanced cuts for the final two episodes of the anime. A teaser trailer was released alongside a visual and a confirmation of a November 8, 2024 release date in Japan.

Series director Yuichiro Hayashi will be directing the upcoming compilation film. “I originally drew the storyboards [for THE FINAL CHAPTERS] with the idea that it would be watched as a single movie," Hayashi said. "So, having the opportunity to have everyone watch it in the best possible environment, the theater, is a dream come true for me.” he also said that the visuals have been updated from the original versions for the film's theatrical release.
Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK will feature a brand new theme song performed by Linked Horizon titled To You 2,000... or... 20,000 Years From Now…, which references the anime's epic story. The audio is also getting upgrade to 5.1 surround soundscape.

Both parts of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS are now streaming on Crunchyroll, alongside the rest of the episodes of Isayama's epic franchise. Crunchyroll shared a description of Attack on Titan:
It's likely that Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK film will also arrive on Crunchyroll, but at the time of this publication, the streamer hasn't officially announced any plans for home release. Given the popularity of the franchise, the film will likely see limited theatrical release in North America and other regions, but we'll have to wait for further details.
