No amount of leaks can stop the hype surrounding Arcane Season 2. Although full episodes of the animated series’ second and final season leaked online, many still await its official release on Netflix in November. So, to excite fans even more, the streamer has dropped a sneak peek at the second season as part of its new Geeked Week 2024 trailer.
You can watch the Arcane Season 2 sneak peek below, starting at 1:03 mark.
The Arcane Season 2 sneak peek begins with warlord Ambessa revealing the need to declare martial law to return peace to the city. Caitlyn is seen wearing a white beret, suggesting she’s now the leader of her squad as she looks out over the blue-skied golden metropolis.
Later, Sevika claims the topside is the real enemy as everyone prepares for the ultimate faceoff. A glimpse at Piltover’s dark underbelly is revealed. She then tells Jinx that she can rally the undercity together. Although Jinx looks skeptical about unleashing an army on Zaun’s oppressors, while people tap her back as a sign of support and trust, Sevika calls Jinx a “symbol.”
The trailer also gives a quick look at Sakamoto Days, Twilight of the Gods, It’s What’s Inside, and Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. It also hints at some updates for the upcoming Squid Game Season 2, Wednesday Season 2, One Piece Season 2, and Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2.

What to Expect from Arcane Season 2
The first season saw the League of Legends champions and sisters Vi and Jinx going down completely different paths. Although details about the story of Arcane Season 2 remain under wraps, the implications of the first season finale hint at what’s to come. After the death of Jinx’s father figure, Silco, she launched a hextech missile at the Piltover council. This will drive the sisters further apart and destroy the uncertain peace between the cities of Piltover and Zaun.
Co-creator Christian Linke revealed during a League Dev Update that much more would come from the greater lore, though the second season would be the series' final chapter. He considered Arcane just the beginning of their larger storytelling journey and partnership with the French animation studio Fortiche.
“From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season,” he said. “But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”
Arcane is based on the multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends, developed and released by Riot Games in 2009. It was created by Linke and Alex Yee and produced by Fortiche in collaboration with Riot Games.
Knowing Sevika worked for criminal kingpin Silco, she, alongside others who aligned themselves with the antagonist, may try to martyr Silco in his death and use Jinx as a pawn in their scheming. Jinx may fully embrace her new identity, so fans have much to watch out for when the series returns.
All episodes of Arcane Season 1 are available on Netflix, and Season 2 is set to be released in November. On the other hand, Geeked Week 2024 will take place online from September 16 to 18 and will be live in Atlanta on September 19.
