Star Wars: Ahsoka has had an exciting run which is about to reach the finish line. With seven episodes already released and fans awaiting the last one. We sure do hope that the show’s finale lives up to the expectations. While we wait for the final episode, Star Wars has revealed an exciting new poster that shows a critical event from episode five, Shadow Warrior.
As most of you have already read the title, the iconic moment we are talking about is the encounter between Ahsoka Tano and the shadows of Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. This emotional rollercoaster of an episode shows that Ahsoka’s fall into the ocean resulted in her entering the World Between Worlds, a mystical place that binds space and time. Upon waking up, she is greeted by the sight of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen). She asks him about what happened to her, to which he replies, “You lost a fight.”
Ahsoka mentions remembering some details from her final moments, which Anakin says is a good thing. Continuing his pattern of cryptic responses, Anakin tells Ahsoka that he has come to finish her training. This dialogue is confusing because although he is her former master, Ahsoka has left the Jedi order and isn’t a Jedi anymore. The dialogue cuts off, and the two of them then continue into a training duel.

This face-off between Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker is a mix of many emotions, with nostalgia, guilt, and past wounds all hitting at once. The beauty and depth of this moment are captured extremely well by the artistry of Butcher Billy, who is the designer behind this episode’s amazing poster.
In an Instagram post, the artist showcases the poster, which shows Ahsoka marching towards a shadowy figure of Darth Vader. Both of them have their lightsabers in hand, representing their conflicts. The poster also reads, “One is never too old to learn, Snips,” which is a reference to their close bond. This beautifully crafted poster does a great job of displaying the importance of this moment and episode in the storytelling and narrative of Ahsoka.
For fans curious about this episode, Shadow Warrior is available to stream on Disney+, and the season finale is scheduled to premiere next week.
