Fans tired of watching K-drama are in for a big treat this June 2024. Netflix is about to unveil its new Korean unscripted series, Agents of Mystery. Six celebrity agents will work as a special team to solve mysterious cases and complete missions. So, to give fans a glimpse of a different kind of adventure that awaits, Netflix drops new character stills that hint at the serious investigation about to happen.
The Agents of Mystery character stills feature the six agents investigating a strange case, beginning with Lee Yong-jin. The comedian-singer will serve as the group leader, and his character still exudes his role as the headman tasked with handling major cases.
“As the eldest figure, I aimed to take charge in tough situations, whether they’re physically or mentally demanding,” he told Naver, translated by Soompi.
Next is John Park. The Korean-American singer will be the “brain” of the group. Though his character is described as calm and efficient, he looks surprised in character still. Despite that, Park reveals his passion for unraveling mysteries and puzzles, which incites him to join Agents of Mystery. So, to perfectly play his part in the team, he tries to immerse himself in mysterious situations and observe his surroundings to avoid missing any clues.
In addition, Lee Eun-ji will boost the agents’ morale. With her keen observation skills, she will give the team different ideas about how to solve their missions. Of course, as their moral support, she will always be ready to praise her teammates’ great efforts.
“I aimed to unite everyone’s strength to tackle challenges together and provide support to my fellow members,” she said.
Actress and singer Lee Hye-ri also joins the show as the “all-rounder ace” of the team. With her incredible ability to stay focused and rapid mental agility, she can uncover crucial clues in no time, making her a formidable group member. With her love for game shows like The Devil’s Plan and The Genius, Hye-ri is confident she can nail Agents of Mystery.
Mystery buff Kim Do-hoon will use his enthusiasm and creativity to solve problems and swiftly navigate the situations in the game. To do it, the actor concentrates on the given scenario and does everything he can to tackle the assigned missions.
Lastly, aespa’s Karina will be the resourceful quartermaster of the team. As the group's youngest member, the performer aims to grab everything needed for their mission. “I felt like I should be of help to the other members. I aimed to be helpful by carrying various items and playing my part as the youngest,” she said.

Talking about the reality game series, Jong-yeon revealed that the participants had yet to learn the cases they would solve, along with the locations and missions. He also confidently claimed that the show stood out because the celebrity agents would experience these strange situations as a reality, facing and solving different issues like real-life incidents.
