After dropping several promotional stints here and there, Netflix is now preparing for the big release of A Killer Paradox. And to give fans a good look at the story of Choi Woo-shik's role, an ordinary-man-who-becomes-a-serial-killer Lee Tang, the streamer has released the preview for the first episode. By the looks of it, there’s something about Lee Tang's past that makes him fight back and kill his first victim, ultimately turning him into a murderer.
You can check the preview below:
A Killer Paradox Episode 1 preview begins in good faith. Woo-shik wants to help a man left sleeping in an alley by telling the latter’s friend about him as it will soon rain. However, the guy wants Woo-shik to leave it and back off, making the latter annoyed and giving him the finger. As the guy sees what Woo-shik did, he attacks him, bringing Woo-shik to his past when he was bullied in high school.
But compared to a young and helpless Woo-shik, he now finds the courage to fight back, accidentally killing the guy with a hammer in the process. This quickly leads to an investigation, with Son Suk-ku, playing the role of Detective Jang Nan-gam, taking the scene. As the killing gets into the news, Woo-shik learns his victim is actually a serial murderer.
