Though Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead recently released a new schedule for its new episodes’ release because of several delays, the upcoming Episode 7 will be postponed again. The anime has announced another pushback in some streamers due to, once again, production reasons.

Based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, Zom 100 is written by Haro Aso, who’s also behind Alice in Borderland, with illustrations by Kotaro Takata. Its serialization started in October 2018 and now has 14 tankōbon volumes as of June 2023. In January 2023, an anime adaptation by Bug Films was announced. But ever since the series premiered in July, the new episodes’ release has been postponed time and again.

The anime’s official website announced Zom 100 Episode 7’s release delay. The production team first thanked everyone for their continuous support of the show. It then explained that it had decided to postpone the distribution of the new episode on some services due to “production issues.”

“Due to production issues, we have decided to delay the start of distribution of Episode 7, scheduled to be broadcast on Sunday, September 3rd, on some services,” the announcement reads. “The services that are distributed every Sunday from 6:00 p.m.”

Though Zom 100 Episode 7’s release in Japan will continue as usual on Sunday, September 3, at 5 PM on 28 MBS/TBS networks nationwide, the delay will affect some streamers. So instead of seeing it on the same day of its Japanese release in other countries, it will be moved to Monday, September 4.

“Please check each service for details,” the announcement continues. “We apologize for keeping everyone who has been enjoying the broadcast, but we appreciate your understanding and kindly wait for a while.”

What happened in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 6?

Titled Camper of the Dead, Zom 100 Episode 6 saw the return of an unwanted boss. At the start of the episode, Akira and Kencho went to an RV shop to get themselves a motor home to travel to the former’s hometown of Gunma.

They then ran to Shizuka and convinced her to join them. However, while traveling, they ran into a spike strip set up by Akira’s former team leader, Chief Kosugi, leaving Kencho wounded. Kosugi convinced Akira to work for him in exchange for food, shelter, and medicine. Being stuck in a place filled with zombies, Akira had no choice but to agree.
