Just when fans thought they could finally see Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 6 this week, the anime announced another delay. The series has been experiencing several delays as of late, further moving the new episode’s release date. But thankfully, the wait will be shorter this time (fingers crossed).
The anime is based on the manga series of the same name written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. It’s serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X and released in North America in English by Viz Media. Bug Films produced its anime adaptation, with the first season premiering in July. And since then, it has seen a lot of delays.
The anime’s official website has announced another delay for Zom 100 Episode 6 due to “production reasons.” It was supposed to be released on Sunday, August 27, but its broadcast on some services would be late.
“Each service that is distributed every Sunday from 6:00 PM will be distributed sequentially after 6:00 PM on Monday, August 28th,” the announcement reads. “Please check each service for details. We apologize for keeping everyone who is enjoying the broadcast waiting, but we ask for your understanding and we hope you will be able to wait for a while.”
However, Zom 100’s Japanese release will proceed as usual on August 27 on MBS and TBS. With this new delay, the anime apologizes for the inconvenience and concerns.
The Many Delays of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episodes
Sadly, this isn’t the first time that Zom 100 has announced an episode delay. In fact, it has been happening several times since it premiered.
Episode 4 was the first episode that experienced a pushback for a day due to production reasons. Episode 5 was then delayed due to special programming, followed by Episode 6 because of the broadcast of the World Championships. Supposedly, Zom 100 Episode 6 should be released on August 20.

Recently, the anime’s website also revealed the new broadcast schedule of Zom 100. It explained that the original schedule had changed because of the production delays. You can check the latest schedule below:

Episode 7 – September 3
Episodes 1-7 Omnibus Broadcast – September 10
Episode 8 – September 7
Episode 9 – September 24
However, it’s yet to reveal the release dates for Zom 100 Episodes 10-12, though it promises to make a new announcement when everything is confirmed. Hopefully, the anime will stick to this schedule and release new Zom 100 episodes every week.
