Another epic wedding is happening in the Marvel universe, and it's between two female mutants with unique powers. Marvel recently announced X-Men: The Wedding Special, a one-shot comic that will feature Mystique and Destiny's marriage vows.
The new comic book will be part of this year's Marvel's Voices: Pride and will be part of the group of stories written and illustrated by LGBTQIA+ artists. Written by Kieron GIllen, X-Men: The Wedding Special #1 will show Mystique and Destiny's history, leading up to their wedding. In Marvel's official press release for the upcoming story, Gillen, who has frequently written X-Men stories featuring the couple, talked about writing the one-shot comic, saying, "They've been through hell, mainly at my pen. Finally, giving these two a happy day? How can I say no?"
