X-Men '97 finally premiered on Disney+ last week as the highly-anticipated sequel to X-Men: The Animated Series (1992 - 1997) released its first two episodes. The third episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, the same day as Marvel Comics' X-Men '97 #1 hits the shelves of comic book stores and digital comics apps.
The X-Men '97 comic from Marvel Comics, written by Steve Foxe and drawn by Salva Espin, serves as a prequel to the first season of Disney+'s X-Men '97 animated series, taking place between the finale of X-Men: The Animated Series and the beginning of the X-Men '97 show. The first issue features the X-Men team – Cyclops, Wolverine, Jubilee, Storm, and Bishop – confronting Magneto who became their new leader and mentor in X-Men '97 Episode 2. Jean Grey and Beast also show up in one of the preview pages for the upcoming comic book.

When is X-Men '97 Episode 3 coming to Disney+?
X-Men '97 Episode 3, titled Fire Made Flesh, is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, March 27 at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. The first two episodes of X-Men '97 Season 1 are now available to stream on Disney+. and the third should be released on the streaming platform as scheduled.
