The staff of the Wistoria: Wand and Sword has released a new trailer the adventure fantasy premise of the anime. The video also gives a glimpse of a battle between protagonist Will Serfort and a huge monster. It was also announced that the TV anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 7, 2024 JST. The trailer also previews the anime's opening song, Fire and Fear, performed by PENGUIN RESEARCH; while the ending song, Frozen, is performed by TRUE.
The cast members for Wistoria: Wand and Sword have also been announced, and they include Rumi Ohkubo, Kazuki Ura, Tomohiro Ono, Atsushi Tamaru, Shinya Takahashi, Jun Fukuyama, Reiko Suzuki, Makoto Furukawa, Hochu Otsuka, Sora Amamiya, and Akio Otsuka. There will also be a panel for the series at Anime Expo 2024 next month.

Studio ACTAS is animating Wistoria: Wand and Sword, with Tatsuya Yoshihara (Chainsaw Man action director) as the director, series composer, and scriptwriter. Sayaka Ono (Cross Ange Rondo of Angel and Dragon) is in charge of the character designs, while Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) is working on the anime's music composition.
What is Wistoria: Wand and Sword about?
Wistoria: Wand and Sword is based on the manga of the same title (Japanese: Tsue to Tsurugi no Uisutoria) written by Danmachi‘s Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. The fantasy manga series started serialization on Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in Decembrer 2020. As of June 2024, its chapters have been compiled into 10 tankoubon volumes.
