VALORANT is about to grow its roster, and Riot Games is dropping breadcrumbs about the game's next agent ahead of a full reveal expected during the Champions 2026 finals weekend. Here is everything we know about the mysterious new character so far — confirmed details, reported leaks, and what remains unknown. This article will be updated as more information emerges.

Riot has been teasing the agent for about a month. The first tease came at the end of the studio's "One BIG Dev Update" video on September 14, where the character appeared standing over Anna Donlon, the Head of VALORANT Studio, as though taking control of her — a moment some fans read as a hint at mind-control or possession powers. A silhouette of the agent also appeared in the Champions 2026 trailer in late September.

The clearest look yet came from Riot's own promotional material. An advertisement for the VALORANT New Agent Pop-Up Café at Waji Café in Shanghai — running October 13 to 18 alongside Champions 2026 — showed the agent in full for the first time. Riot's Weibo account followed up on October 10 with an even clearer image of her against a purple neon city at night. The Weibo post promises café visitors an "exclusive first look at classified intel on the new Agent," along with interactive story-driven activities, themed dishes, and surprise merchandise.

Here is what the teasers have confirmed about her appearance: she is a woman with long white hair, glowing purple eyes, dark clothing with purple accents, and elevated shoes. A glowing pink diamond-shaped emblem recurs across the teasers, which players speculate ties directly to her abilities. Community members have been quick to note her resemblance to Reyna — the two share the long hair, the purple eyes, and the dominant purple color scheme.

What role will the VALORANT Agent play?

That part is leaked, not confirmed. Dataminer valohabercisi reported in late September that the new agent will be a Duelist, which would make her the ninth in the role — further extending the Duelists' lead as the game's most-represented class. Another dataminer, kohteihep, shared the icon of one of her abilities, though its function remains unknown. Early reports have also suggested a Chinese origin and an unusual dash ability, but neither has been officially confirmed.

What are the new VALORANT Agent's abilities?

Her full kit has now leaked (via @marpkat on X) — and none of it has been officially confirmed by Riot Games. The leak describes a kit built around her Passive, Double Life: she carries a different ability depending on whether her team is attacking or defending, which is why the leak lists two separate ultimates.

  • Range Trigger — Equip a pressurised cannon and fire to throw it, sticking to the first surface it hits. After a short delay, the cannon releases a thin curtain of mist that stays active briefly. Agents who pass through the curtain are nearsighted, with reduced vision.

  • Secondary Projection — Equip her spectral projection. Fire while aiming at an allied agent to capture an imprint of their signature ability, or alt fire while aiming at a downed ally to collect their signature instead. Reactivate to equip and use the copied signature — but the copy cannot be kept past the end of the round.

  • Signature: Charged Roll — Equip to prepare the dash. Fire while aiming at a compatible wall to pass straight through it and emerge on the other side, then roll in the direction she is moving.

  • Ultimate 1: Ground Rules — Equip a four-pointed star and fire it at a target location to create a gravitational field. Enemies who enter the field are repelled toward its perimeter and slowed. The star can be destroyed as the field starts.

  • Ultimate 2: Star Burst — Equip a condensed star and fire it to a target location, creating an anti-gravity field after a short delay. Enemies inside are lifted into the air and float; after a short period, the star detonates, dealing damage to enemies caught in the blast.

The leaked kit lines up with the earlier reports of a unique dash and an ability that copies teammates' signature moves. If it holds, she would be the first agent able to borrow an ally's signature ability — a mechanic unlike anything in VALORANT today. Riot has shown no abilities officially, so treat all of this as an unconfirmed leak until the reveal

When will the new VALORANT Agent be revealed?

According to a schedule shared by VALORANT Leaks & News on X, the reveal is set for October 17 at 2:00 p.m. during an exclusive showmatch held alongside the Champions semifinals — one day before the grand final on October 18. Riot has not confirmed that date.

What Is still unknown about the new VALORANT Agent?

Her name (no official name or codename has surfaced), her abilities (only one icon has leaked), her origin (fans have guessed several countries from her design, but the only evidence so far is her look), and the exact patch she will release in. She is expected to become playable toward the end of October, ahead of the next competitive season in November.
