The TV anime adaptation of Eterouji Shiono's Ubel Blatt officially started today, and with its premiere comes the announcement of nine additional voice cast members, including Gen Sato, Kaori Maeda, and more. The dark fantasy series is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Animation studios Satelight and Staple Entertainment are producing the animation of Ubel Blatt, with Takashi Naoya as director. Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of the series composition and scripts while Kiyoshi Tateishi and Tetsuya Yamada provides the character designs. Shun Narita is in charge of the anime's music.
What is Ubel Blatt about?
Ubel Blatt is based on the dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Etorouji Shiono. The series was serialized in the semi-monthly Young Gangan magazine from December 2004 to 2009, and transferred to Monthly Big Gangan where it resumed until its end in March 2019. Square Enix have published 24 tankōbon volumes of the manga.
