Aniplex has released a new announcement video for Touring After The Apocalypse TV anime adaptation. The announcement was previously teased by Aniplex last Friday, and now, it will be a TV anime adaptation the post-apocalyptic slice-of-life adventure manga by Sakae Saito. Studio Nexus, the animation studio behind The Eminence in Shadow, will produce the animation for Touring After The Apocalypse for a release later this year.
The anime's two leads, Yoko and Airi, will be voiced by Konomi Inagaki (Idora in The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World) and Miyu Tomita (Kiui in Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night), respectively. As part of the announcement, the pair are featured in a promotional photoshoot together. Inagaki and Tomito will attend the Aniplex booth at AnimeJapan 2025 for a stage event.
Touring After The Apocalypse mangaka Sakae Saito shared a comment about the anime's announcement:
Touring After the Apocalypse is being adapted into an anime! I am truly honored. It’s all thanks to everyone who has always supported me—thank you very much. I never even imagined that this manga—which I drew freely without any thought of it becoming an anime—would be transformed into an animated work. I’m excited to see how it will be visualized, and I’m constantly amazed by the professional work of the director and the entire production team. Although I am the original creator, as an anime fan, a bike fan, and a post-apocalypse fan, I am really looking forward to the anime Touring After the Apocalypse!

What is Touring After the Apocalypse about?
The Touring After the Apocalypse anime is based on the slice-of-life post-apocalyptic manga series written and illustrated by Sakae Saito (Super Cub Rei spin-off). The adventure series has been serialized in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine since September 2020, and as of today, six collected volumes have been released.
Yen Press shared an official description for Touring After The Apocalypse:
