The anime adaptation of the light novel series The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic gets an exciting update, introducing the main cast, who will bring the fantastic characters to your screens. The series’ official website drops the four main cast and new character visuals.
Created by Kurokata, The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic started as a web novel that debuted on Shousetuka ni Narou in 2014. It’s illustrated by KeG and published under KADOKAWA’s MF Books label. It has a total of 12 volumes, which ran from 2016 to 2020, and has a manga adaptation by Reki Kugayama.
The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Cast
As announced, Shogo Sakata plays the role of the main character Usato, along with Ayaka Nanase as Suzune, the student council president who was summoned to another world with Usato. Kengo Takanashi joins the series as Kazuki, who joins Usato and Suzune in another world. Lastly, Saya Aizawa voices Amako, the mysterious beast girl whom Usato meets in the fantasy world.
The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Staff
The anime adaptation of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is directed by Takahide Ogata, who also helms Kaiketsu Zorori: Lalala Star Tanjō. The staff also includes Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma’s Shogo Yasukawa as the series’ writer, and Handyman Saito in Another World’s Yoko Tanabe as the character designer. It is animated by Studio Add and Shin-Ei Animation.
What is The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic about?
The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic’s story begins with the ordinary high school student Usato. After bumping into Suzune and his classmate Kazuki while on his way home, they are suddenly swallowed by a magic circle and transported into another world.
They are summoned to be heroes to save a kingdom from the hands of a demon king’s army. However, only Suzune and Kazuki have what it takes to be heroes among the three.
Little did they know that Usato had a rare knowledge of a healing mage. He then gets abducted by a woman named Rose, the life-saving corps’ leader, and recruited to be in her ranks.
