The anime adaptation of Kurokata and KeG's light novel series, The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic: Main Recovery Team Member Running Through the Battlefield, premiered in January 2024, and fans of the isekai fantasy genre are excited to watch the series continue every week. The official website of the anime has released preview stills and official synopsis for Episode 10, which is officially titled Unhinged!? The Black Knight Appears!, and it teases the demonic Black Knight that Usato, Suzune, and Kazuki are about to face in the frontlines of the war with the Demon King's army.

The official synopsis of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Episode 10 (based on the rough English translation) reads:

The war with the Demon King's army has finally begun. Usato once again realizes the harshness of the battlefield as he treats the people in need of relief, who are brought in one after another by the Black Clothes. As the war progresses, Usato goes to the front lines of the battlefield with Rose. Using his well-trained physical abilities, he saves the kingdom's knights one after another amid the onslaught of the Demon King's army. Meanwhile, a mysterious demon called the Black Knight appears before Suzune and Kazuki, who are fighting on the front lines as heroes.

What is The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic about?

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic anime is based on the Japanese light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin) written by Kurokata and illustrated by KeG, which was initially released as a web novel, was serialized under the MF Books imprint from 2016 to 2020. As of today, twelve volumes have been published by Media Factory. Presently, a manga adaptation by Reki Kugayama is ongoing in Comp Ace magazine.

One Peach Books licensed The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic light novels and the manga in English, and the publisher shared a plot description for the series:

Usato, an ordinary high schooler, happens to run into two fellow students after school one rainy day. Suddenly, all three of them are engulfed in a magic circle and transported to a fantasy world. There’s just one tiny problem—Usato is simply dragged along by accident! On top of that, Usato learns that he is capable of using healing magic—an incredibly rare affinity in this new world. Now Usato must spend his days with the rescue team thugs, struggling through their hellish training regimen—learning the wrong way to use healing magic. Get ready for an eccentric otherworld fantasy filled with comedy and combat!

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Episode 7 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll on Friday, March 8, 2024. The first season of the anime will consist of 12 episodes, so with 10 episodes already out, expect 2 more new episodes to arrive on the streaming service this anime season.
