The Unaware Atelier Master Anime Reveals Opening & Ending Theme Songs, More Cast

The TV anime adaptation of Yōsuke Tokino's The Unaware Atelier Master (Kanchigai no Atelier Meister: Eiyū Party no Moto Zatsuyō-Gakari ga, Jitsu wa Sentō Igai ga SSS Rank Datta to Iu Yoku Aru Hanashi) light novel series is coming on April 6, and to remind fans about its premiere and reveal the additional cast, the official website of the anime has a released a new trailer. It was also announced that there will be an advance screening on March 30, a week ahead of its television broadcast, on the Anime Store and ABEMA services in Japan at 10:30 p.m. JST (9:30 a.m. EDT).

The new trailer previews the anime's opening theme song FACSTORY performed by Mesemoa as well as the ending theme song Haru ni Kiete (Vanish in the Spring) by LOT SPiRiTS. Based on the footages shown in the trailer, it looks like The Unaware Atelier Master will have comedic and lighthearted moments in a fantasy world. Watch the second trailer for the anime below:

The three newly-announced cast members of The Unaware Atelier Master are:

Mayu Yoshioka as Bandana

Nobuhiko Okamoto as Golnova

Saori Hayami as Marlefiss

They will be joining the previously announced cast that includes:

  • Mikako Komatsu as Kurt Rockhans

  • Asami Seto as Yulishia

  • Minami Tanaka as Liselotte Homuros

  • Hisako Kanemoto as Mimico

  • Rie Tanaka as Ophelia

  • Ayana Taketatsu as Sina

  • Kaito Ishikawa as Kans

  • Takuya Eguchi as Danzo

EMT Squared produced the animation for The Unaware Atelier Master, with Hisashi Ishii (Rainy Cocoa in Hawaii, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) as the director, and Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can't Communicate, Flying Witch) is overseeing the series scripts. Miyuki Nakamura (sub-character designer for Psycho-Pass, Banana Fish) is the character designer, and Harikemu Wata is the music composer.

What is The Unaware Aterlier Master about?

The Unaware Aterlier anime is based on Yōsuke Tokino and illustrated by Zounoze's fantasy light novel series that was originally published online since 2018. Since March 2019, ten volumes of the series have been published by Alphapolis. A manga adaptation by Naharu Furukawa began serialization online via AlphaPolis' manga website in December 2019, and seven volumes have been published.

AlphaManga, which publishes The Unaware Atelier Master manga digitally, shared a description for the series:

One day, Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, is suddenly kicked out of the Hero's Party for being "useless". He finds that his aptitude for weapons, magic, and all other combat-related skills is the lowest rank, so he takes odd-jobs repairing the castle walls and digging for minerals to make a living, where his exceptional abilities are immediately revealed. He proves to be skillful in cooking, building, mining, crafting magical tools--in fact, his aptitude for every skill unrelated to combat had an SSS-ranking! Kurt, however, seems completely unaware to his talent and ends up saving people, the town, and even the country through his unaware actions!?
