The TV anime adaptation of Kōki Fuyutsuki's The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom (Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru) light novel series is scheduled coming on April 9, and to get fans excited, its official website has released a new promotional short video featuring the rom-com fantasy anime's ending theme song Sister by WON.
The staff of the anime also announced that there will be a stage presentation at AnimeJapan 2025 on Sunday, March 23, with voice cast members Kaede Hondo, Takuya Sato, Sora Tokui , Kohei Amasaki, and Kazuyuki Okitsu attending. There will also be an advance screening event of the anime's first two episodes on March 29 at the EX Tower in Tokyo, Japan.

TROYCA is in charge of the animation of The Too-Perfect Saint anime, with Shuu Watanabe (Naruto Shippūden, Shinobi no Ittoki) directing, and Keiichirō Ōchi (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, The Quintessential Quintuplets) overseeing the scripts of the anime. Shūhei Yamamoto (Kakushigoto, Beast Tamer) is the character designer, Takaaki Nakahashi (Peach Boy Riverside) is the music composer, and Keiichirō Ōchi (My Tiny Senpai, Aikatsu!), Takayo Ikami (Assassins Pride, Brothers Conflict), and Sayaka Harada are the script writers.

The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom anime is based on the rom-com fantasy light novels written by Kōki Fuyutsuki and illustrated by Masami. The series started on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from July 2020 to January 2022 before Overlap acquired it and began publishing it in April 2021. Overlap's Comic Gardo manga service released a manga adaptation illustrated by Mago Ayakita in November 2021.
Seven Seas Entertainment, the official English publisher of the light novel series and manga, shared a description for the series:
Philia’s family has produced saints for generations. It’s no surprise that she’s known as the greatest saint of all time—and set to marry the second prince, Julius. What no one expects is for Julius to call off the engagement, claiming that Philia’s perfection makes her charmless and unlikable. To add insult to injury, Philia is packed off to a neighboring country in exchange for gold and resources, forcing her to leave her homeland! Despite bracing herself for mistreatment, Philia finds a warm welcome in her new town, where she puts her saintly abilities to good use erecting barriers against monsters and curing epidemics. But even as she flourishes in her new life, her homeland is under threat of destruction!
Overlap published the fifth volume of the light novel series in June 2024.
