The New Movies and TV Shows Coming to Netflix in August 2023

Netflix already released the list of TV shows and movies coming to its library in August 2023.

A new month has begun, which means a new lineup of TV shows and movies is coming to Netflix for August 2023. The streaming giant has teased several new offerings this month, from the live-action adaptation of One Piece to a docuseries that will explore Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s courtroom battle in Depp v. Heard.

Every month, Netflix has been adding a number of movie and TV titles to its growing library. From Netflix originals to other networks’ TV shows, here are what you’re about to see on the streamer this month.

 

Netflix’s Live-Action Adaptation Coming in 2023

Netflix will give its live-action adaptation of the anime series another shot in the much-awaited One Piece, based on Eiichiro Oda’s huge manga franchise, coming on August 31. It will also feature the live-action movie of Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata’s Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, led by Eiji Akaso as Akira, coming on August 3.

Netflix’s Original Movies Coming in August 2023

Finally, after a long wait, Gal Gadot’s Heart of Stone will make it on the streamer on August 16. Fans will also see the Adam Sandler-produced film You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah on August 25.

Netflix’s Original Docus

Aside from movies and TV shows, Netflix is also making a name for producing some of the best documentaries and docuseries. This time, it unveiled Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child, which reveals some biggest revelations about Jake Paul and his dad, out on August 1. It also includes Mark Cavendish: Never Enough (August 2), Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip-Hop (August 8), Depp v. Heard (August 16), and more.

Netflix’s Original TV and Anime Series

Of course, the much-awaited release of Heartstopper Season 2 will finally happen on August 3, along with The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Part 2 on the same day. In addition, Baki’s fight against his father will soon happen in Baki Hanman Season 2 Part 2, releasing on August 24. On the same day, fans will see the premiere of Ragnarok Season 3.
