The anime adaptation of Shinogi Kazanami's isekai light novel series The New Gate has released a new trailer and shared details on the additional cast members. Studios CLOUDHEARTS and Yokohama Animation Lab are animating the series, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2024. The teaser gives us a look at the anime's fantasy visuals and features protagonist Shin, who was transported 500 years into the future of the in-game world. The trailer reveals that Shunya Hiruma plays Wilhelm Avis, Kaori Ishihara plays Rashia Luzel, and Akiho Suzumoto plays Millie. Previously, it was revealed that Kenshō Ono plays Shin, Asami Seto plays Schnee Raizar, Mika Okasaki plays Yuzuha, and Kaede Hondo plays Tiera Lucent.
As for the staff, Tamaki Nakatsu (Eyeshield 21: The Phantom Golden Bowl) will be directing the The New Gate anime with the series scripts writen by Hiroki Uchida (The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest). Itsuki Takemoto, who worked as an animation director on Naruto Shippuden, is in charge of the character designs. The music are composed by Tatsuhiko Saiki, Yūya Mori, Misaki Tsuchida, and Tsugumi Tanaka.
