A royal family from the elf kingdom of Alferia is about to enter the story, with five characters set to become active from Episode 5 onward. The new arrivals expand the world around Ray White just as the second season moves deeper into its Magicks War arc.
Word of the additions came through the official website of The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II, which published the fourth round of character information for the season. Each character received an individual visual, and the five actors also shared comments alongside the reveal.
Four of the five belong to the Alferius family, the royal house of Alferia, while the fifth serves that household as a maid. Their arrival ties the season more closely to Elisa and her homeland, giving the academy story a new royal thread.

Abel rules Alferia as its current king and is also an uncle of Elisa, placing him at the top of the new group. Cyril stands as Abel's younger brother, while Raldo holds the position of first prince and Cathy serves as third princess of the family.
Mia works as a maid for the Alferius household, rounding out the group from outside the royal line itself. Together, the five mark the season's fourth character reveal, following earlier rounds that introduced other new faces for the second season.
Masahiro Takata directs the second season at Zero-G, and he also handles series composition and sound direction. Mariko Kawamoto provides the character designs and serves as chief animation director, with music by Tatsuhiko Saiki and Natsumi Tabuchi.
Scripts for the season come from Takata alongside Tomoko Shinozuka and Takahito Onishi. That team continues the adaptation as the story shifts toward the rival-school competition at its center.
What is The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II about?
The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II is the second season of an action, fantasy and school anime based on Nana Mikoshiba's light novels. The novels first appeared on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2019, before Kodansha began publishing the print edition with illustrations by Riko Korie.
Ten volumes of the light novels have been released to date, under Kodansha's Ranobe Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with artwork by Norihito Sasaki has also been published, and Kodansha USA releases that manga in English.
