The official website of The Fire Hunter anime has released a new trailer for Season 2 along with the announcement of its January 14, 2024 premiere date. The first season of the anime aired from January to March 2023 with 10 episodes total, and animation studio Signal.MD, which animated Season 1, will be returning to animate the second season. As you can see in the trailer below, Season 2 will have the same old school style animation as the first, reminding anime fans of Hayao Miyazaki's animated films.

The anime was directed by Junji Nishimura while Mamoru Oshii is in charge of both the series composition and scriptwriting.
