The first trailer for the highly-anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally coming this Tuesday morning, and to hype up the fans, a sneak peek has dropped early, setting up a major launch. The first Fantastic Four film from Marvel Studio stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm / Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / Thing. While the sneak peek doesn't heavily feature the four stars, it sets the stage for their origin story of how they acquired their powers.
In the teaser, which you can watch in Marvel Studios' tweet below, a group of kids run to crowd around some televisions in a window. They're excited for what appears to be a space launch involving Marvel's First Family - one of the TV shows Ben Grimm followed by the three other team members. "Prepare 4 launch," is displayed on one screen, while another shows a spacecraft heading to space. The kids cheer, and the teaser ends with a reminder that the first main trailer for the film will officially be released at 7 a.m. EST on February 4. The footage also showcases the film's period setting, with boxy TVs and old-fashioned cars.
Last Friday, ABC News shared a press release announcing that the preview for The Fantastic Four will premiere on Good Morning America this Tuesday. However, shortly after the press release came out, it was updated to take out any mention of the long-anticipated trailer, but today's sneak peek confirms that the original press release was right.
"Finally, [we’re] bringing Marvel’s First Family into the MCU," Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has previously said about the film. "They wrap next week, the movie comes out next summer, and then all those characters go right into the next Avengers movies, so I'm very excited for the future of the Fantastic Four."

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ introduces Marvel’s First Family as they face their most daunting challenge yet.” Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
The Matt Shakman-directed film also stars Julia Garner as the Silver Surver, Ralph Ineson as the powerful planet-devouring villain Galactus, and Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich in mystery roles.
