What is The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 about?
The anime is based on The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been publishing the series with Tozai's illustrations since 2018, and there are currently 5 volumes in English. The light novels were licensed in English by Yen Press, and the anime is currently adapting Volume 3, and you can read its synopsis here: '

Outside of Japan, The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will be available to stream on HIDIVE, just like the first season of the anime. The second season is confirmed to have 12 episodes total (the first season had 20 episodes), and the first three episodes of the second season are now available to stream. Episode 4 will be available to stream on Wednesday, October 25.
