The English dub of The Beginning of the End anime begins 2 weeks after the premiere of the original Japanese version.

Crunchyroll has announced the premiere date of the English dub of The Beginning of the End anime. Along with the announcement of its release date, the cast and crew of the English dub have also been revealed. Episode 1 of the English dub is scheduled to premiere this Wednesday, April 16.

The original Japanese version premiered on Crunchyroll earlier this week, with the first two episodes now available to stream on the platform. Check out the full cast and crew of the The Beginning After the End anime's official English dub below:

Studio A-CAT produced the animation of The Beginning of the End anime, with Keitaro Motonaga (The Kingdoms of Ruin) as the director while Takamitsu Kono (A Returner's Magic Should Be Special) is in charge of the series composition. Masami Sueoka (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human) is worked on the character designs, and Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) composed the anime's music.

What is The Beginning After the End about?

The Beginning After the End anime is based on the American web novel of the same title (Japanese: Saikyō no Ōsama, Futatabime no Jinsei wa Nani o Suru?) written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23. The High fantasy series began serialization on Tapas in January 2017. Fuyuki23 also illustrated a webtoon adaptation, which began serialization in July 2018.

Yen Press is publishing the official English version of the webtoon, and as of March 2025, seven volumes have been released. Crunchyroll's story description of The Beginning After the End reads:

After a mysterious death, King Grey is reborn as Arthur Leywin on the magical continent of Dicathen. Although he enters his second life as a baby, his previous wisdom remains. He begins to master magic and forge his own path as the years go by, seeking to correct the mistakes of his past life.
