The official website of the isekai anime has revealed preview stills and the synopsis for Season 3 Episode 17, which is titled The Lightspeed Hero, and it's expected to adapt Chapter 107 of the source material. As final preparations for the festival are underway, Rimuru holds a meeting and receives a report from Soei about the Elven slave trade that Mjollmiles informed him about. Soei told Rimuru that the group behind the slave trading has already been taken down by an individual known as the Lightspeed Hero, Masayuki.
Rimuru quickly recognizes the name as Japanese and immediately suspects that Masayuki is an otherworlder like him. However, the Lightspeed Hero has already declared demon lord Rimuru as his next target. The next episode will likely reveal how Masayuki first arrived in this world, and all the powers that he, like Rimuru, gained upon entering it. It seems that Masayuki also has an existing relationship with Yuuki Kagurazaka, a leader of the Free Guild and fellow otherworlder. The episode will also show additional work in getting the labyrinth set up in time for the big festival.
