That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 11 Preview Shows The Beginning of Founding the Demon Capital Arc

The conflict against the nefarious Seven Days Clergy came to a conclusion in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 10, bringing the Saint/Monster Confrontation arc to an end. Despite being criticized for having a bunch of meeting scenes earlier in the season, the arc featured some exciting moments, including the fight between Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi, while also showing more of the Holy Empire Lubelius, one of Tempest's rival nations.

Now, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime is getting ready to start its next arc, Founding the Demon Capital. The official website of the isekai anime has revealed preview stills and the synopsis for the eleventh episode of Season 3, which is titled Reconciliation and Agreement, and it's expected to adapt Chapter 98 of the source material. Expect the episode to show the rest of the holy knights come to terms with the truth that their god is actually a demon lord. Seeing the opportunity to broker piece, Rimuru will have a reconciliatory feast and invite Luminus and the Great Saints back to Tempest.

The Seven Days Clergy were purged by Luminus, bringing the battle to a close. Rimuru and Hinata began negotiations on diplomatic relations. During the discussions, they came to know of the existence of the "Eastern Merchant" who had been pulling the strings of the battle.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 11, which is Episode 59 overall, is scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 14 at 23:00 JST. Studio Eight Bit is animating the third season with director Atsushi Nakayama directing the series. Toshizo Nemoto is in charge of the series composition while Ryoma Ebata is working on character designs, and Takahiro Kishida on creature designs. Jin Iketagawa is the sound director while Hitoshi Fujima is the music composer.

What is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 about?

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is based on the isekai fantasy light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) by author Fuse and illustrator Mitz Vah, which begins with a 37-year-old salaryman named Satoru Mikami, who's stabbed by a robber and wakes up in another world. However, the hero is reincarnated as a Slime, one of the weakest Monster classes in this strange world.

Tensura Season 2 is based primary on the Volumes 5 and 6 of the light novel series, and the third is covering the events of the next few volumes. In Volume 7, tensions escalate when Hinata Sakaguchi — the captain of the Crusader forces and the chief knight of the nation's Imperial Guard — sets her sights on the heroic Rimuru. Things get complicated when a priest that Rimuru sends to Lubelius is killed, but in Volume 8, which focuses mainly on a festival that's happening in Tempest.

Rimuru has officially become a Demon Lord after defeating Clayman. Following Walpurgis, the Demon Lords’ banquet, Rimuru’s domain is expanded to include the entire Great Forest of Jura. Anticipating a flood of representatives from all races showing up to pay their respects, Rimuru decides to throw a festival to commemorate the opening of Tempest, using it as an opportunity to gain new citizens and present Demon Lord Rimuru to the world. Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Lubelius, home base of the monster-hating cult of Luminism, Holy Knight Captain Hinata receives a message from Rimuru. But the message is actually a fabricated declaration of war sent by some unknown party. Upon learning that Hinata is heading for Tempest, Rimuru makes a decision… Thus begins a new challenge for Rimuru, striving to distinguish friend from foe in a pursuit of the ideal nation where humans and monsters can prosper together.

While That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 is streaming on Netflix and Muse Asia in some Asian regions, the fantasy anime series will be available to stream on Crunchyroll in North America and other regions. In the U.S., Season 3 Episode 11 is scheduled to release at 8:30 AM Pacific Time (11:30 AM Eastern) on Friday, June 14, 2024.

The third season is confirmed to have two consecutive cours with 24 episodes total, so we can expect the isekai anime to run until September 2024. With 10 episodes already out for the third, we can expect 14 more new episodes to arrive in the Spring and Summer 2024 anime seasons.
