Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a new trailer for the Kirito the Hero, a 2D survival game that will be included in the Premium Edition of its Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream online action game, which is scheduled to launch on October 3, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. PC gamers will have to wait a day later, on October 4, for its Steam launch.
The video shows Kirito the Hero's old school RPG-like gameplay elements as the protagonist Kirito battles a horde of monsters to survive while acquiring weapons and leveling up. A new Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream character trailer for the Administrator (played by Maaya Sakamoto) for the main game was released. The online co-op game is also getting a Deluxe Edition that comes with a DLC character pass and costume set, and the Premium Edition will also come with another costume, digital soundtrack, digital art book, and early access three days before launch, while PC players can get a Demon king set (from Sword Art Online: Unleash Blading) for Kirito if they pre-order on Steam.
What Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream about?
In Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, players can join Raid Teams to battle bosses in the Boss Raid and Co-op Quest modes.
