Suicide Squad ISEKAI was expected to reveal more information at Anime Expo 2023 this year, but it looks like DC Comics' group of supervillains couldn't wait anymore. The Warner Bros Japan and Studio Wit-produced anime will feature Harley Quinn and her team of criminals, including Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark as they are sent into a fantasy world where they will face enemies they've never encountered in the DC universe before.
A new trailer and visual have been released for Suicide Squad ISEKAI today, as well as the official confirmation of the anime's July 2024 premiere. Eri Osada is directing the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime, with Naoto Hosada and Akira Amano (draft) in charge of character designs. Eiji Umehara and Tappei Nagatsuki are working on the screenplay while Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music.

What is Suicide Squad ISEKAI about?
Suicide Squad ISEKAI will feature popular characters from the DC Comics series that was modernized by John Ostrander after its main characters made their debut in The Brave and The Bold comics from the 1950s. The official description of The Suicide Squad Isekai reads:
Harley and others go on a rampage after arriving in ISEKAI but are captured by the Kingdom's soldiers and sent to prison. They only have 72 hours before the bomb on their neck explodes. The deadline is fast approaching. After negotiations with Queen Aldora, the condition for liberation was the conquest of the hostile Imperial army. They have no choice but to throw themselves head-first into the front line of battle.
