Fans now know a little more about the mysterious DLC character from Street Fighter 6, Rashid, as Capcom reveals his release date and a short gameplay demonstration. The game officially launched on 2nd June with 16 world warriors, including both veterans and newcomers.

These ranged from fan favorites like Chun-Li, Ken, and Ryu to exciting newcomers like Kimberly and Marisa. However, the initial roster of Street Fighter 6 was greatly criticized because it mostly featured warriors who had appeared multiple times since Street Fighter 2.

Regardless, Capcom quickly responded, announcing the release of the first season of DLC characters soon after launch. From what we know, Rashid will be the first DLC character of the season.

He comes from the land of Saudia Arabia and is now on a journey to figure out the true meaning of strength. After the events of Street Fighter 5’s cinematic story mode, he became a part of the social media world as he vlogs and streams his bouts.

Not only this, but he is also famous for his amazing acrobatic feats, with which he can conjure tornadoes with the help of his parkour moves. The most recent trailer of Street Fighter 6 highlights all of these gameplay aspects of Rashid.

From the trailer, we can see that Rashid is one of the nicest, easy-going ones with a relaxed attitude. Nevertheless, when it comes to fighting, he is one of the most lethal ones. The trailer shows his amazing parkour skills and various moves, giving off the impression that he is a challenging fighter with terrific mobility.

He has an aggressive style of fighting, helping him control the fights where his moves can push him forward or bring about a tornado. Sounds pretty exciting, right? Now onto the bigger question, when will we be able to play Rashid?
