Netflix has made several breakout stars, including Millie Bobby Brown, who was introduced as the lead character, Eleven, of its hit series Stranger Things in 2016. Sure, it wasn’t the young star’s first venture to the small screen, but it catapulted her to a great stardom that many have known her today. But as the show enters its fifth and final season, the actress is now ready to “get out” of the show as it “takes a lot of time to film.”

Stranger Things has helped Brown become one of today's most well-known young actresses. However, she isn’t the only breakout star that comes from the series, as almost every one of the then-newcomers has now made big names for themselves, like Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink, among others. As Stranger Things Season 5 will mark this phenomenal series’ end, Brown now compares it to graduation, where she’s ready to say goodbye.

In an interview with Glamour, the Enola Holmes star likened the final season to the “last senior year.” “When you're ready, you're like, 'All right, let's do this. Let's tackle this last senior year. Let's get out of here,'” she said.

She’s just like an excited student eager to see what’s about to come. However, she claimed the show “takes a lot of time to film” and that it stops her from “creating stories” that she’s passionate about. “So I'm ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye,’” she added.

Brown is well aware that the series has provided her with the tools and resources to become a better actor. But despite seeing the last of it in Stranger Things Season 5, she refuses to mourn the show, as no one is about to die—probably in real life. She said that when the show comes to an end, she will still have the chance to see her co-stars.

What is Stranger Things Season 5 about?

Stranger Things Season 5 will probably pick up where the previous season left off. Just when Eleven and her friends thought they had defeated Vecna, they saw the Upside Down made its way to the real world in the small town of Hawkins. So, in the last and final season, the group will do everything to learn how to put the main villain down.

In different interviews, the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, teased the series' future. They earlier told TVLine there would be a major time jump and later confirmed to Collider that the final season would only be set in Hawkins and the Upside Down. Hence, Eleven and the gang will not be split into different countries this time.

Matt and Ross Duffer also claimed that the last season would reveal the history of Upside Down and answer all the questions fans have had since the show started. And to add more, Stranger Things Season 5 may most focus on Will and his possible connection to Vecna.
