If you've ever wondered how long it would take to travel across planets with a speeder in Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft has the information. According to the developer, players can traverse three of the action-adventure game's five planets in just four or five minutes.
Speaking to IGN, Star Wars Outlaws creative director, Julian Gerighty revealed that Tatooine, Akiva, a Toshara moon, Cantonica, and Kijimi in the game are about the size of two to three zones in Ubisoft's popular game Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with Tatooine potentially being slightly bigger.
In the same interview, Gerighty also clarified how long it would take for the game's protagonist, Kay Vess, to traverse from one side of Toshara to the other on her speeder.
"Four or five minutes nonstop, which doesn't sound like a lot, but once you're committed it's a fairly large amount, and you are always going to be distracted," Gerighty explained.
Gerighty stated that a larger size is not what Ubisoft focuses on in the game; instead, they are prioritizing quality over quantity. He explained:
